{"id":152,"count":4,"description":"The right sieve for every application When developing our sieves, we comply with DIN EN 13451-3 as well as the leaflet R 60.03 of the German Society for the Bath Industry (here are the most important facts):\r\nFor air sampling openings, special features must be observed:\r\nIf the upper edge of the sieve is deeper than 600 mm below the water level, holes with a maximum size of 8 mm may be used. If the upper edge of the strainer is higher than 600 mm, only 3 mm holes may be used. Gaps between the sieve and the wall must be closed. The air intake openings must be designed with regard to the sieve, the space behind it and the flow velocity in such a way that hairs do not get knotted behind the sieve and persons cannot be sucked in. This must be verified by a hair trapping test. All ROIGK sieves are made of robust, thick-walled stainless steel sheet.
