Helpful tips and information
Stainless steel is our craft. With a lot of heart and soul we work daily on the goal to revolutionize the market of public baths with fresh design and quality. Our experienced team has already completed several thousand complete installations in the pool industry. Especially in the field of pool equipment, the Roigk company has been present in German-speaking countries for more than 60 years and we are proud to be represented with our products in almost all public pools.
Anyone who is even remotely involved with public swimming pools knows the enormous demands that must be met by the materials used. In addition, there are also planning framework conditions or DIN specifications by which the form and function of the products is at least partially predetermined.
With Roigk you have a partner at your side who not only knows the challenges from A to Z, but has also been meeting and exceeding them for decades, giving us an excellent reputation in the industry.
More and more often we are also stainless steel – pool supplier for private pools. Whether it is a suitable entry ladder or swimming pool stairs made of stainless steel V4A, or a pool lifter (swimming pool lifter), we have the best solution for you. We understand that you are looking for a partner with whom you can rely on the quality of work and materials and be served a sustainable solution. Due to our experience with public baths, we are sure that we can also understand and fulfill your wishes and requirements.
Entry ladders are the classic entry point in any pool. But are they all the same? If you look a little closer, you will quickly see that there are some differences. A pool ladder bridges the interface between the pool and the pool surround. Therefore, in the execution planning, the manufacturer is in contact with several trades, so that important transitions are clarified and tightness is ensured, and adapts the respective pool equipment to the pool conditions. Therefore, the design of Roigk pool equipment is never the same due to the versatile pool conditions and a wide variety of requirements. Although our models are visually similar, they differ from construction project to construction project in the design.
Roughly, we distinguish ladders between ladders for a ladder niche; two-piece pool ladders and box ladders for lifting floors or missing ladder niches. In the case of gelled pools, only our grip arch pairs R500 (Wiesbaden gutter) or R505 (Finnish gutter system) are often used, as the steps have already been modeled there by the pool builder.
We process only high quality stainless steel, which can withstand the conditions (direct water contact; chlorine; high humidity) under the condition of regular and proper maintenance. We can also rely on proven materials for brine swimming pools.
For older people, or people with physical impairments, getting in and out of the pool via the classic pool ladder is nearly impossible. For these purposes, we have an Edelstal V4A swimming pool stairs in the program which helps just this target group to participate in the swimming and bathing experience. Of course, this staircase is also suitable as a pool staircase.
In public indoor and outdoor pools, precise regulations regarding positioning; under-swimmability etc. must be observed, which of course do not apply in a private pool, but are often useful (e.g. adherence to the so-called step size formula). Similar to ladders, swimming pool stairs must always be adapted to the corresponding pool.
We also offer the suitable swimming pool stairs for lifting floors.
Do you need a railing or handrail for your entry, or pool walkway? We are specialist in stainless steel V4A and V8A basin equipment. In other words, railings have been our bread and butter for decades. We know your challenges and we know the solution.
